Sacred Heart School for Boys (old name) was establish in 1955 , it was built
along the streets of Gen. Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City and was first ran by Rev.
Fr. Francisco Heras S.J .On March 4,2010 .The school’s name was
changed from “Sacred Heart School Jesuit” to “Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de
Cebu”. Running the school are Jesuits including its president Fr. Manny Uy S.J.
and The school’s new campus is located at H. Abellana St.,Canduman, Mandaue
City. It is a private, Jesuit, catholic school which teaches and provides
Philippine education with a Chinese language and Arts Program. It’s patron
saint is St. Ignatius of Loyola .For more than 50 years now , the school is
providing academic excellence for its students. It provides Jesuit training
which helps train students to appreciate the world they live in and to develop
their gifts as much as possible. Each and every student embodies its core
values or the “7 C’s namely, Chris-centeredness, Conscience, Competence,
Compassion, Character, Community and Culture. They strive to be “MEN AND WOMEN
FOR OTHERS” and “TO DO MORE AND BE MORE “ for the greater glory of God.
